  Arrived at just gone 11:00 and were promotly seated. My 2yr old daughter, wife and i were seated next to the service station allowing our push chair to remain with us. An italian chap immediately started telling us to move push chair next to entrance whick irked me somewhat. It wasnt requested more ordered until the initial server stepped in. It wasnt busy and there was plenty of room so his attempted intervention was unnecassary.
  
  My daughter had the chicken item from the childrens menu as part of a set meal, we were not offered a stsrter or dessert but still charged the same price. The food was as expected for a child and a suitsble portion.
  
  My wife had the Caesar Salad which was delicious and the only critique being being that the chicken portion was a little on the mean side.
  
  I had the 12oz rib eye steak Medium with frites. The steak arrived medium rare ehich was disappointing and the frites were stingy. Other than being undercooked the steak was less than average, cheap meat from argentina i suspect or recently thawed. Ive had better meat from greasy spoon cafes in the past and this one certainly didnt reflect the price charged or value for money.
  
  I've always liked cafe rouge and left feeling disappointed eith this particular branch and wont be returning.

  PRO:
  - enough space to sit even when crowded (but I would rather reserve in advance if there's more than two people in your party),
  - speedy and friendly staff,
  - nice selection of foods and drinks,
  - prices are okay.
  
  CONS:
  - I was a bit appalled by the server's raised brow when we said we only came for tea/coffee (we did order food in the end, but still),
  - can be really loud and busy on the weekends, so if you want something quiet to talk/read, this is not the place for you,
  - location is not very pleasant (right next to the main door into the shopping centre),
  - food is very average (Croque-Monsieur was nothing to phone home about),
  - they could invest a little in the presentation of the meals.

  Food is great, what you'd expect from a Café Rouge location. Atmosphere is also very nice but it can get a bit loud considering it is in a shopping mall.
