  Just your standard chain pub really. Food is alright, good portions, not too pricey. Beer is alright. Staff are nice. It's nothing special but a nice enough place for a couple of drinks and a pie

  I'm glad to admit they have improved their service and the last couple of visits have been very pleasant. The staff is friendly, competent and efficient.
  
  This is a very popular local pub serving good food. It isn't dine dining, I would say the menus are more ambitious than your local pubs typically have. Veggies tend to be overcooked so there's room for improvement, though.
  
  Beer-wise there's nothing special, they have the same old real ales + few imported more or less tasteless product from mega breweries that every pub seems to have. But I guess that's the idiomatic English pub for you, so nothing to complain here, either.

  Gone down hill recently. Several of the staff are actually very rude and have an "I don't care" attitude. The food is also poor, chips often cold and just silly things which spoil the meal. It's frustrating because the last few visits have been like this now. Hopefully will be sorted out soon.

  Good Service and Good Food. My friend & I enjoyed a Saturday evening meal here recently. Luckily we booked as it was really busy but the service was good and we enjoyed our food. We used the Tesco Clubcard boost vouchers to pay for our food.
